Navika Sailing – Video #14

Ahoy 🙂 In this video, we are still in Sardinia on the Costa Smeralda and are finally able to set foot on land after the crazy strong winds we had (see last episode).

We go for a beautiful walk in the national park, say goodbye to our anchorage neighbours Dilbar (the longest super-yacht in the world!) and then sail down to Cala di Volpe, and soon realise how exclusive this whole area is. We later found out it’s the most expensive location in Europe, and is where many celebrities and millionaires come on vacation.

Lars has a look at our Cetrek autopilot in the cockpit locker and we get fed up of the wake from the motorboats and make our way to another anchorage further down the coast.

We enjoy the scenery and good weather, and although we have a rolly trip down to our next anchorage, the incredible mountains and coastline make up for it.
